Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire sedan in India and prices start from Rs 8.14 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Apart from that, the Indo-Japanese company claims a fuel efficiency figure of 31.12 km/kg of CNG fuel. Apart from that, Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the CNG version of all models that are currently being sold through its Arena dealerships. Speaking about the powertrain, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire S-CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated, DualJet, 4-cylinder, petrol engine. Sipping petrol, this engine produces 88.50bhp of peak power and 113 Nm of peak torque. However, with the CNG fuel, this engine produces slightly lower power and torque outputs. According to Maruti Suzuki, this unit with CNG fuel produces 76.6bhp of peak power and 98.5Nm of peak torque.
